Welcome to my Birthday Fundraiser! I am fundraising on behalf of Prader-Willi Syndrome Association | USA's Family Support Program to support individuals diagnosed with Prader-Willi syndrome, their families, and care providers by providing critical information and resources.

I learned about Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS) in 2005 while working for Catholic Charities Disabilities Services (CCDS) in Albany, NY.  CCDS specialized in providing residential support to adults with PWS as well as support to children and their familes living at home.  During my time at CCDS, I worked with some of the leading experts in residential living for PWS.  My mentors, Jeff, Anne O., Anne R., and Laura graciously shared their knowledge and fostered my growing passion for PWS.  However, no one taught me more about supporting those with PWS than the individuals themselves and for that, I am forever grateful.  It was at CCDS that I was first introduced to PWSA | USA first by attending then speaking at conferences, then volunteering and finally in 2016 I joined the Family Support team alongside Evan and Kate.  

Working for PWSA | USA was, and still is, a dream come true. I work alongside a dedicated and passionate group of women who are commited to empower those affected by PWS.  Together we are helping and giving hope to thousands of families each year, but we need to do more!  Please help us, help the PWS community by donating to my fundraiser benefiting the Family Support program.
